ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) — With help from the National Resource Network, the city of Rockford looks to improve the quality of its neighborhoods.

On Thursday, community members were invited to two community sessions to provide feedback as Rockford looks to develop its neighborhood revitalization strategy.

Locals provided input on changes they would like to see in their neighborhoods.

Leaders are hopeful the feedback will build bridges and get many community members involved as possible.

“Rockford has a lot of momentum right now,” says Susan Hartmann, Enterprise Community Partners. “To be able to be strategic about how to build on that momentum, keep moving it forward, keep it expanding and have it really include all areas of the city is what we’re hoping to support here in Rockford.”
