National Resource Network

Meridian, Mississippi National Resource Network WTOK Newscenter 11 December 18, 2014 Economic Development

“The National Resource Network is a government run program to help cities not only to know what their problems are but to give them the resources from the government to help them in those areas. Just like urban blight, police work, they will give suggestions that other cities have done or monies available by the government to take advantage of the programs to get these things done,” said Ward 5 Councilman Randy Hammon.

This government program will give Meridian the resources to help it grow not only in an economic development point of view but it will help with education, provide advice on how to handle urban blight and will also aid in the development of a downtown health care sector district.
